Puerto Calero
is a four star hotel situated on a hill just behind the Marina at Puerto Calero. Puerto Calero is an up market resort area built around the exclusive marina where you will see very expensive yachts. Puerto Calero is just a 5 euro taxi ride from the more bustling resort of Puerto del Carmen and also only 5 km from the National Park at Timanfaya.There are also courtesy buses from the hotel into Puerto del Carmen. There is no beach at Puerto Calero but there is access to the sea via various secluded coves. The Costa Calero Iberostar does have a sandy man made sunbathing area and also includes a health spa, piano bar , restaurants,bars 4 swimming pools all with handrail access and of course evening entertainment and daytime activities.
