La Santa is tiny village situated on the north west coast of Lanzarote a short drive from Famara . The next cove along the coast in a Northerly direction is the location of Club La Santa which is a purpose built sporting complex catering for most sports but with an emphasis on water based sports such as wind surfing, surfing etc. There are swimming pools, football pitches, tennis courts , gymnasiums , a full size athletic track and organised coaching for over 30 sports. The surf in the next bay attracts many professional surfers and is home to international competitions. Lanzarote has long time attracted many professional clubs and sportsmen for warm weather winter training. The resort has not changed much since it was built in the 70s but if you are sports mad it is well worth a visit. There are mixed reviews for the resort as a holiday base with claims of basic and poor accomodation but obviously opinions are subjective and there are just as many favourable reviews as unfavourable. It is also possible to stay in many of the private accomodations in Lanzarote and still use the sports complex. I would leave you to make up your own mind.
